Earlier today, the demo for what is possibly the most anticipated game of the year, Battlefield 2, was released.

There are many other links to download it from around the net, so if the above two give you problems, it's not hard to go to sites such as AusGamers & 3D Gamers to find alternate download locations, and torrents for this.

I'm sure many of you will be wanting to play this next MPU.

the demo rocks, I love it.

Just curious where is the cheapest place to preorder it? EB do it for like 89 for the dvd copy, theres gotta be cheaper places than that....

I never even played the first battlefield game.

I didn't play the first bf game much as it came out when i was overseas and PC-less. This demo rocks hard. I love it. Can't wait for the full game and to get some lanning in.

The squad based play is awesome. Gonna be much better when playing it with friends though rather than just random's on the net.

I couldn't get it to work.

Major installation errors appear. Then when I've worked around that. I get in game errors. Mainly to do with memory.

Tested memory, works fine. Not sure what it is.

Ah well, I'll wait for the full release.

hmm i need a new gfx card to play it to the max....5700....lack of performance even when o/c'ed...going for a 6600GT PCI-X =D
