Well after a fairly lengthy hiatus MPU is back, we've been looking at venues for the past few weeks/months without a great deal of success. But I can tell you we HAVE found a venue and we will be back in action April 30.

Unfortunately all weekends up until that weekend are booked solid at our new venue, so that is the first date available to run MPU.

As of April 30 we will be located at Lidcombe Catholic Club, on the weekend I will post a lot more information, we have booked some dates for the rest of 2005 - I will also post them.

Rego's will open in a few weeks for the April event, so mark the date down in your calendars!!! As always if you have any questions feel free to email us mpu@mpu.com.au

Now please, do check the SGL site, and do your best not to conflict with any SGL events :-)

But you will see me at your first MPU back...unless something happens in the next 2 1/2 months :-)

There *will* be some date conflicts with SGL. This is unavoidable, as our new venue only had limited availabilities for Saturdays - we had to take what dates we could. But where possible, we have tried to avoid any double-ups.

Nope - there will not be any Jolt at the new venue. This is part of the conditions - we are not allowed to bring any food/drinks into the club. We were very lucky that we were allowed to at the Masonic club, as most clubs don't allow it.

There will be snack food and drinks available at the venue, and we are trying to work out how we can minimise the cost of this for you guys.

meh just go the $10 steaks at lunch time and dinner time,

Those children forget so many things everytime I go there. I've made it a ritual to eat there now rather then go somewhere else and figure out my stuff is missing.

One occassion.... No nuggets. waited 10 mins... they gave me small chips... I ordered a LARGE meal deal, not a Happy meal.... Giveme that toy anyway...

Was going to post a new topic but flip it, have been going to sgl since the death of of MPU, went to its venue and found nothing but a leech and stare at your screen feast, hey i want to support who is doing all they can to hold a lan but geeeeez, how about a game or 2 instead of a locked servers not that i dont play cs but hey i tried to play it but could not enter the games grrrrr, i just cant get myself to shout out f...... u come on you fu...rs.
I know you some of you have the same feeling, there are so many fun mulitiplaying games out there, lets pay them when mpu kicks back in, i will be there so join me to get MPU baack up there where it was b4, the guys at SGL hold a great lan, price is good with the food and all but i feel they are missing more players playing games.

Yeh two bad things about sgl & that is the food & the cs addicts cursing & swearing at the top of their lungs all the time. To many cs players for my likeing. There was a whole row both sides all cs players. Plus heaps of others. But i guess you'll get that at most lans since cs is still so popular after all this time. :(

BTW - Let's play some farcry and CoD or something, I went to BONGLan Marchii and I noticed a lack of Farcry and CoD....

Question..... Why is the parramatta venue still not up? still under construction? dates booked? (sorry if this has been asked before, just jumped on forums)
